LA Galaxy youngster Jack McBean was in a decent mood after scoring on his MLS debut on the weekend.
The 16-year old striker played a full 90 minutes as a much-changed Galaxy outfit lost their final regular season match 3-1 to Houston Dynamo but the promising sign was that McBean was able to mark his first match in North America's top flight with a goal.
McBean scored in the 88th minute with a calm finish after being found by Chad Barrett free in the penalty area and he was happy to hit the back of the net, even if he wasn't 100% convinced by his own performance.
"It was a really good experience," McBean told reporters.
"Obviously, it's a lot different than what I am used to. The atmosphere, the players, everything is a lot more intense.
"It's a lot more physical. It's going to take me a while to get used to, but to get out there was a lot of fun.
"I know I need to get better and hold the ball and keep it for my tea, keep up my fitness. There are tons of things I need to get better at."
