Mbappe in furious clash with PSG teammate Neymar; upsets Brazil coach Tite

Kylian Mbappe sparked a physical clash with PSG teammates after victory over Montpellier.

Having missed an early penalty, Mbappe saw Neymar take the next spotkick - which he converted during the 5-2 win.

After the final whistle, TNT Sports says Mbappe, who had been antagonistic throughout the game, hit out at his teammates and almost came to blows with former Barcelona star Neymar before others stepped in.

PSG chief Luis Campos has since held talks with the pair to ease the tension.

Meanwhile, Mbappe has also upset Brazil coach Tite with recent comments about the World Cup.

The France striker stated: "The advantage we Europeans have is that we play among ourselves with high-level matches all the time, such as the Nations League for example. When we arrive at the World Cup, we are ready, where Brazil and Argentina do not have this level in South America. Football is not as advanced as in Europe. That's why at the last World Cups, it's always the Europeans who won."

In response, Tite snapped: “In the qualifiers, these are all matches with a very high degree of difficulty. I was talking to a columnist from Uruguay recently, and he said to me, “Playing in Bolivia is very difficult. Playing in Colombia is very difficult. Playing in Uruguay is very difficult. And the campaign you did, damn, it's impressive'.

"I'm sure Mbappé doesn't know this difficulty, he didn't try to find out."

He also said: "Maybe he's talking about those Nations League clashes or European friendlies, but not the (South American) qualifiers. Sorry, we don't have Azerbaijan to play against. Here, there is no one to bring you water."
