Former Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri is being linked with AS Roma.
Il Tempo says Mazzarri is under consideration as Rudi Garcia's position with Roma is questioned.
Garcia has see his team suffer a serious form slide since the New Year.
Mazzarri, while currently not managing a team, is still on a yearly 3.5m salary from Inter until 2016.
