Stevie May says he is ready to sign a new deal with St Johnstone.
The 20-year old striker is in talks regarding a long-term contract with the Saints and says he can't wait to put pen to paper.
"I was never going to be going anywhere, I know the players at St Johnstone, I know everyone about here. I have been here a long time and I like playing here," May told Sky Sports News.
"At the age I am at I need to be playing first-team football and it is beneficial doing that.
"I am not too sure about the details. They are all still getting sorted but I am happy to sign a contract."
