Maxi Lopez has completed his move to Chievo Verona.
The striker, 30, joins Chievo from Catania.
"Chievo strongly wanted me, they contacted my manager," Lopez revealed to Chievo TV. "They talked to me in Argentina and they made their interest in me clear immediately.
"When they really want you, you can't do anything other than accept.
"I had other offers but Chievo was a life choice, for my family too. It's important to go to a team where I can show what I can do."
