Maxi Lopez has no interest of playing on with Catania.

Catania sports chief Sergio Gasparin admits Maxi is determined to leave the Sicilians.

"After Milan, he has expressed his intention not to return to Catania," confirmed the club's new ds to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He is currently in the 32 called for the withdrawal under [new Coach Rolando] Maran, but depending on different things we will make a decision.

"Each player at Catania must be committed to the shirt. Next week we will evaluate all situations relating to the player.

"It is clear that we are aiming for the most advantageous economic situation, to try to make as much as possible."
