Mauro Icardi has rejected Inter Milan's latest new contract offer. The striker's current deal runs to 2018, but he is among the lowest paid senior players at Inter.
Inter have offered Icardi a new deal worth €3 million-a-year, rising to €4 million in bonuses - which would make him the highest paid at the club.
However, Icardi is insisting on a base of €4 million-a-year, rejecting the proposal.
Negotiations will continue this week, with Icardi's wife, Wanda Nara, and Spanish agent Abian Morano representing the striker.
