Norwegian whizkid Mats Daehli has been named Manchester United Academy Player of the Year.
The 17-year-old succeeds last year's winner Ryan Tunncliffe and follows the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Danny Welbeck in scooping the award.
"I'm very proud and the season went very well for us, particularly in the Youth Cup," Daehli told manutd.com at Monday's awards night at Old Trafford. "Everyone here has taken great care of me, I've settled in well and hopefully that will continue."
Daehli also revealed he has a legendary fellow countryman in his corner.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge inspiration to me and it's great I can call him whenever I want."
