Valencia defender Jeremy Mathieu insists there's plenty for fans to look forward to next season.
Mathieu is entering his second season in Spain.
"I have the best expectations and hope to have them fulfilled. The team has progressed and we have the possibility to continue playing in the best club competition in the world. It is a challenge for all personally and collectively," he told Super Deporte.
"I chose Valencia because I wanted to play a competition like the Champions League and had this ambition and we have achieved it. It's perfect, I always dreamed of this, I am anxious because this time I want pre-season to go faster and see myself playing in the Champions League.
"A club like this, beyond the names, will always have the ambition to go as far as possible. Personally, I will give everything in the Champions League and in the other competitions. The team is very excited and want to combine a good Champions League with la Liga because in the end that is what will give us the chance to play more years in the Champions League. We will be able to go further than last year in Europe and the Copa del Rey."
