Marco Materazzi has told Inter Milan teammate Mario Balotelli to buck up his ideas.

The Inter defender agrees with coach Jose Mourinho that Balotelli needs to respect the rules of the club.

Speaking at Nike Town on Oxford Street, Materazzi said: "There's no sense in losing yourself in criticism. Everyone would like to be a regular, but in the end the trainer is the one who makes the decisions.

"When you sign for Inter, you already know that you might happen to sit on the bench, go in the stands or even stay at home. There are precise rules and they must be respected."
