Juan Mata says Manchester United can "change the dynamic" by beating Liverpool on Sunday.

Currently sitting in 12th on nine points, the Red Devils will be heavy underdogs when the Premier League leaders arrive at Old Trafford.

But Mata says the match can be a watershed moment if United can collect all three points.

"On Sunday we have a great chance to change the dynamic and we are all very motivated to take the win," he wrote in a blog post.

"We are United, we are playing at home and we will give everything to be able to take the victory that our fans deserve in such a special game."
