Ryan Mason admits Tottenham's defeat to Liverpool was difficult to take.

Mario Balotelli came off the bench to grab Liverpool's winner.

"We're all disappointed to concede that late goal," Mason told the Spurs website.

"We've proved this season that we have character and resilience. We came back twice and we're all gutted we let it slip at the end.

"I don't think either team played particularly well and a draw would have been a fair result."
