Ryan Mason is delighted to have joined Tottenham manager Antonio Conte's backroom team.

Mason has been added to the first team coaching staff by Conte.

He told the club's website: “I'm delighted and very excited to join the team under the boss and also the staff that he's brought along.

"It's an exciting chapter for the football club, we'll be looking to work hard, improve and get some positive results in the short term, but also in the long term as well. I spoke to the boss on the Tuesday after the first training session, we spoke a bit about joining the team and becoming part of the coaching staff and it's something I'm really excited about.

"He's one of the best managers in the world – his record speaks for itself. It's a massive opportunity for me, and a massive opportunity for the football club to have the boss here coaching and helping the team."
