Argentina coach Tata Martino has hailed the current form of Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Martino believes Messi has found his best form since the start of the year.

"He is a complete player, who understands just what the team needs at different times and blessed with the skill to provide the boost it needs at just the right moment," said the former Barca coach.

"He is much more mature, a real team player, and what happened in the last World Cup is largely responsible for that. Back then we saw a less explosive player."
