Everton boss Roberto Martinez says Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku could be the missing piece to their goalscoring puzzle.
Youngster Gerard Deulofeu is the only forward player to have found the net in Everton's four games so far this season - with their last two Premier League outings ending goalless.
"I think it's fair to say that our opening three performances in the league have been really, really good, but all they have been lacking is that goal - the ball hitting the back of the net," Martinez told the Liverpool Echo.
"The fans realise that and when you see a player arrive who is capable of doing that it excites you.
"He could be that little piece which completes the puzzle.
"We are all excited about Romelu, without forgetting that Nikica Jelavic and Arouna Kone are very important for us too, but extra competition for places is also important."
