Norwich City defender Russell Martin says their team spirit has been key to their success this season.

Scotland international Martin is under no illusions as to why Norwich continue to upset the odds.

"You have got a strong core of characters that have been here throughout the whole thing and I think the people that come in just add to that," he told the Eastern Daily Press.

"There are no egos and I don't think the dressing room would allow any to be honest, because of the way we are together.

"We have got no superstars. There is not one player you would say is a superstar.

"We are a team and we are better as a team. We are a real unit and we work harder than a lot of teams, which is why we get a lot of success."
