Olympique Marseille winger Andre Ayew is chasing a move to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old is keen to leave Marseille following their disappointing sixth place finish in Ligue 1 last season but his £60,000-a-week wages have put off Serie A rivals AC Milan and Napoli.
He has been linked with Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle as well as a host of European clubs, but he is desperate to join the Anfield club. L'Equipe says Newcastle United could go in for Ayew after being spurned last summer.
