Olympique Marseille striker Loic Remy is waiting on word from Chelsea about a move in January. Remy came close to signing for the Blues in the final days of the summer market and remains on football chief Michael Emanelo's shopping list.

The France international is viewed in London as backup should Atletico Madrid refuse to do business over Radamel Falcao.

Remy is eager to see the move happen, admitting he was disappointed not to join Chelsea in August.
