Olympique Marseille are making a move for Guingamp striker Claudio Beauvue.

L'Equipe says OM are aiming to keep the prolific forward in Ligue Une next season, despite Beauvue favouring a move to England.

The 27 year-old scored 17 goals this season and has made it clear he feels ready to test himself in the Premier League.

Guingamp president Bertrand Desplat stated earlier this month: "It seems that this is the will of Claudio to go to England. Claudio Beauvue has done well for us this season.
