Olympique Marseille are interested in Standard Liege defender Oguchi Onyewu. The USA international is off contract in June and is ready to leave Belgian football for a new challenge next season.

Gooch's US teammate, Freddy Adu, is currently on the books at AS Monaco and he could join the youngster in France if Marseille make concrete their interest.
