Olympique Marseille chief Pablo Longoria is seeking talks with Arsenal for Matteo Guendouzi.
The France U21 midfielder has spent this season on-loan with Hertha Berlin and is likely to be transfer-listed by the Gunners this summer.
Longoria is keen to bring the former PSG and Lorient prospect back to France for next season and wants to set up an initial loan, reports La Provence.
Guendouzi's season is over after suffered a fractured metatarsal last week.
The midfielder may welcome a return to France after falling out with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta last year.
