Olympique Marseille are hoping to sign Pape Gueye from Watford today.

The midfielder is now a Watford-owned player after coming off contract from Le Havre. However, Gueye insists he doesn't wish to fulfill the original pre-contract agreed with the Hornets.

L'Equipe says OM management were in advanced talks with Gueye's minders last night over a four-year contract. There was a confidence of an agreement being struck.

Should terms be agreed, it's expected OM will cough up a nominal fee to Watford to take Gueye off their hands.
