NK Maribor whizkid Luka Krajnc has turned down interest from English Premier League clubs by signing a deal with Italian outfit Genoa.
The 16-year old was reportedly close to signing with Blackburn Rovers last year and was more recently being chased by the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Birmingham City.
But Maribor's director of sport, Zlatko Zahovic, confirmed to Epika that the promising talent was set for Italy.
"The main thing is that everyone involved are happy with this deal," Zahovic said.
"Genoa was an extremely good business partner and we are happy to announce that Luka is moving to Italy.
"Even though he is still very young we talked in a way like he would be a top player and that shows that Genoa have big plans with him."
