Marcus Edwards is thrilled to make a move to Sporting CP.
The former Tottenham midfielder left VitoriaGuimaraes for Sporting in a €7.7m switch on Monday.
Edwards said, "I'm very, very happy. It's a great day for me, my family and my friends. I'm very happy to be here.
"It's the biggest club in Portugal, so this is amazing for me.
"Sporting have a great coach, a good system, a good team and good players.
"I'm grateful that he [Rúben Amorim] believes so much in my qualities. Everyone knows what a good coach he is, so I'm excited to be able to work and evolve with him."
Edwards has signed a deal to 2026 with a buyout clause of €60m.
