Real Madrid winger Marcos Asensio insists he could yet stay.
Asensio is entering the final year of his contract at Real this month and admits he's not spoken to the club about a new deal.
He said, "I want to be the best player I can be and things have to be valued. I have to agree with the club. I haven't spoken to anyone because it wasn't time. When the time comes, we have to weigh things up."
When asked if he wants to stay in Madrid, Asensio replies: "Yes, obviously. But I also want to grow and have continuity throughout the year, not just three or four months. You have to respect the coach's decisions and be prepared when he gives you the chance. I'm proud of what I've accomplished. It was my season with the most goals."
