Marchisio says Juventus players love playing for Conte

Claudio Marchisio is enjoying working for Juventus coach Antonio Conte.

The midfielder feels Conte's methods are being lapped up by Juve's players.

"He has an extraordinary character and he's looking to get it across. On Sunday, despite the victory, he was angry at the goal we conceded," revealed Marchisio of his new Juve boss.

"He's conveying quality of play to us, looking to always make us compact and focused. We needed someone who could give us that psychological release and now we should show the results of his work in every game, starting from next Sunday."

Ahead of Juventus' trip to face newly-promoted Siena, the midfielder told Sky of his belief that the team's summer preparations have been key to their strong start to the season.

"After the final pre-season games where many were saying that we weren't ready, the match against Parma instead showed that the work we've done this summer in Bardonecchia, the United States and at Vinovo has been worthwhile."
