Roberto Mancini is keen on the job at Notts County.
The Guardian says Mancini is understood to have an interest in the vacant managerial position at Notts County despite his agent's attempts to distance him from the post yesterday, although the former Italy international has been advised to request a meeting with the League Two club's owners before considering whether to take matters any further.
Mancini played under Sven-Goran Eriksson, Notts County's director of football, during the Swede's time in charge of Sampdoria and Lazio and there has been contact between the two over the summer.
