Sacked Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini steamed into Joe Hart after defeat to Manchester United at the Etihad earlier this season, it has been revealed.

The Daily Mail says moments after conceding the last-minute goal that gave rivals United a 3-2 derby win at the Etihad Stadium last December, Hart found himself on the end of a tirade from Mancini that few present have forgotten.

Most observers blamed a ducking Samir Nasri for City's defensive wall buckling to hand United victory through a late Robin van Persie free-kick. But Mancini was furious with his keeper.

"You owe me everything," raged Mancini in front of his astonished squad. "I gave you a chance in this team and this is how you repay me."
