Roberto Mancini is ready to ink a new deal with Manchester City.

The Sunday Mirror says lawyers for City and ­Mancini are currently going through the small print of a deal that will keep the Italian at the Etihad until 2015.

It will net him a £6million-a-year salary - almost doubling the terms of the three-and-a-half-year deal he signed when he arrived in Manchester in December 2009.
