Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he remains keen on AS Roma star Daniele de Rossi.
De Rossi is out of contract at Roma in the summer.
"De Rossi? He is a champion and he would be the perfect man to improve City," Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"If we get the right signals, it is right that we try for him."
