Man Utd's Hargreaves still in England World Cup plans

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves could still be going to the World Cup, despite doubts over his knee problems.

The Daily Mail says Hargreaves, the Manchester United and England midfielder, has not played a competitive match since September 21, 2008, due to chronic knee injuries.

But England's stand-out performer in the last World Cup has kept his place on the players' negotiating committee alongside international regulars John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard and Gareth Barry.
