Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher concedes Manchester City proved they'll be a top four challenger this season after Sunday's derby dazzler.
Fletcher, who struck twice in the 4-3 win, insisted: "The teams in the Premier League get better and better every season. It gets harder to win the title every year.
"We just have to concentrate on ourselves and keep on winning matches. If we can do that, then we'll be up there come the finish."
City fans will be delighted to hear he expects them possibly to finish in a Champions League place.
Fletcher said: "They have started well and spent a lot of money. You have to respect that. They are a good side and definitely going to be up there around the top four."
