Promising Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah says that he's enjoying his working relationship with the likes of Chris Smalling, Daley Blind and David De Gea in United's defence.

The 18-year-old has made nine appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season and has made some commendable performances in recent times thanks to the influence of his more senior defensive colleagues.

"Chris and Daley communicate so well with me," he told ManUtd.com.

"Everyone in the defence is great, of course David as well. He's a top goalkeeper and he saved us again on Saturday.

"You can see the partnership between Daley and Chris and how they express themselves, they're a great pair.

"I'm enjoying playing full-back but I'm happy to play anywhere the manager wants to put me. I just do my best and try my hardest."
