Manchester United winger Ashley Young insists their penalty awarded in victory at Crystal Palace was fully deserved.
Young's first-half cross hit Scott Dann's upper arm in the first half, leading to Juan Mata converting the opening goal from the penalty spot.
"It was the referee's decision to make but I thought the defender did stick his hand on it - I thought the referee got it spot on," he said.
"We came here to get the three points and we're delighted to get them.
"It's always tough here at Selhurst Park because of the atmosphere - the pitch is quite small and the fans are close to the pitch.
"We set our stall out in the first half and played some fantastic stuff."
