Manchester United winger Robbie Brady hopes a senior call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad is close.
Brady has starred on-loan at Hull City this season and also with the Ireland U21s.
"Maybe the big reason I'm playing so well for the U21s is to help me get a senior call-up," said Brady.
"While watching the senior match against Slovakia on television last Friday, I asked myself could I have done something to change the game and I think I would have. The aim is promotion to the senior squad but this week is all about getting a result against Turkey."
