Man Utd whizkid Demetri Mitchell proud to play for England U18 in Bury

Manchester United attacker Demetri Mitchell is happy being part of England U18s for tomorrow's friendly in Bury against Holland.

The promising forward, who scored a hat-trick in the recent Academy win at Newcastle United, was part of the squad that won the European Championship in Malta and is striving for more progress this season.

The friendly against the Netherlands should provide the perfect opportunity for Mitchell to showcase his talents.

"I should have a few people coming to watch me as its quite local," the teenager told TheFA.com. I'm from Old Trafford but live in Sale now, so Bury is only a 20-minute drive from my house.

"Everyone is into football in the north west. You can go to any household, school, anywhere, and the main topic of conversation is football. It's been great growing up in that environment through school and college.

"The people up here are mad about football, and hopefully we'll get a few there on Friday to see what we can do and give us that bit of support."
