Manchester United are weighing up a move for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The Manchester Evening News says United remain interested in signing the France international as he decides on his next club. The midfielder is off contract next month.

Although Rabiot has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, the possibility of joining a Premier League club appeals to the France international and United have tracked him since Louis van Gaal was manager.

Rabiot's mother and agent, Veronique, encouraged United to bid for her son in the 2014 summer transfer window after a move to Roma collapsed.

United's failure to qualify for the Champions League does leave them at a major disadvantage against competitors for Rabiot, who was wanted by Barcelona last year.
