Manchester United are tracking former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Borja Valero.
Now with Fiorentina, Valero's form this season has attracted the interest of former club Real Madrid.
La Nazione says United manager David Moyes is also having Valero scouted leading up to the summer market.
Along with Valero, 29, United scouts also were present to see Fiorentina teammate Juan Cuadrado star in victory over Udinese earlier this week.
