Manchester United are being linked with Barcelona fullback Martin Montoya.
The Spain international is off contract in June and can commit to a pre-contract from January 1 with a foreign club.
Calciomercato.com says United are interested in Montoya leading up to the winter market.
The player's agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, revealed the interest of Liverpool last week.
