Manchester United are chasing Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
The Daily Star Sunday says Laporte - admired by Barcelona, Tottenham and Arsenal - has impressed United manager David Moyes' scouts.
United spies have watched Laporte six times in the last three months and are determined that the France Under-21s star - who plays at centre-back or left-back - is definitely one for the future.
Laporte is under contract until 2018 and has a £30million buy-out clause to prise him from Bilbao.
