Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic says he's careful not to appear too much in the media.
While recognising his responsibility to speak with the press, the Serb admits he make a conscious effort to only do so at certain times.
He revealed to the Telegraf: "I don't always make statements. It's embarrassing to appear in the media after every game. Journalists have a hard time understanding, especially with us, why I don't give interviews. I give when there is need for it, when I do not give for a while.
"But people have to understand something. Talk about us the day before the game - let's play! The story goes on during the match, then the next day it is commented on how we played. And we play twice a week.
"Like it or not, I'm a non-stop present in the newspapers. And imagine if I always made statements. So I watch once a month to stay in the mix zone, I don't stop all the time."
