Manchester United are weighing up using Eric Bailly in a swap offer.

The Daily Star says Spurs have targeted Bailly and will go head-to-head with Arsenal this summer for the Ivorian international's signature.

Now it has emerged Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is also keen on Bailly and views him as the ideal replacement for Toby Alderweireld.

The Belgium international has a £25m release clause in his contract and is expected to leave Spurs this summer.

Ironically, United are interested in Alderweireld and could use Bailly as bait to strike a deal.
