Manchester United want to offload Alexis Sanchez permanently next season.
United will seek to sell for £25million - but will give most of that fee to the Chilean as part of his severance package, says The Sun.
Sanchez joined Inter Milan on a season-long loan in August, with Manchester United subsidising his mammoth salary (up to £560,000 a week with bonuses and add-ons), and positive early displays have hinted at a permanent move.
However, the winger will be due a compensation package on his four-year deal signed in 2018 should he be sold.
Sanchez earns a basic salary of £300,000-a-week, with £100,000 in image rights plus an additional £160,000 due in bonuses.
That adds up to a total of more than £50m in wages owed to Sanchez by the club.
