Toni Kroos is demanding Bayern Munich double his wages if they want him to stay. Kroos was watched by Manchester United boss David Moyes in victory at Arsenal last week.
Bild reports Kroos is currently on a club-average 4m-per-year.
New signing Mario Gotze, as well as stars Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, earn nearly three times that.
It is suggested that the midfielder and his agent are looking for at least 8m-per-year if he is to renew.
