Man Utd target David: I don't know if I can see myself anywhere but the Premier League

Lille striker Jonathan David admits a move to England is a career priority.

The Canada international has been linked with Manchester United.

David told La Voix du Nord: "I think it is possible, very possible. I don't know if I can see myself anywhere but the Premier League.

"So it could very well end with the Premier League. There is a very nice atmosphere.

"In England, when I watch the games, everything is full every time. As a player, it motivates you even more."

However, David adds that he is not chasing a move away at the moment.

He is very keen to break the goalscoring record at Lille, which so far belongs to Eden Hazard, who has 50 goals.

David, 22, is listed for 41 in the Lille jersey, where he has a contract until the summer of 2025.
