Manchester United are taking the Premier League trophy on a global tour.
The Daily Mail says United have announced plans to celebrate their record 20th title last season by taking the Premier League trophy on a global tour around 31 destinations later this month.
After a send-off event in Manchester, the United Trophy Tour kicks off in Rio De Janeiro on October 30. The five-month tour will then see the trophy appear in a number of locations including Dubai, Mumbai, Jakarta, Shanghai, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Moscow and Istanbul.
Former United players Andrew Cole, Denis Irwin, Bryan Robson and Dwight Yorke will accompany the trophy on various legs of the tour which is being organised in conjunction with sponsorship partners DHL.
