Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is fielding a massive contract offer from Qatar's Lekhwiya. The Sun says Van Persie will be offered an £18million deal to sign for Lekhwiya.
Lekhwiya are managed by former Swansea chief Michael Laudrup and they are ready to give RVP a three-year-deal worth £6m a year.
The prospect of starring in the Middle East could appeal to the 31-year-old if United decide to end his spell at Old Trafford.
Van Persie has one year left to run on his £220,000-a-week United deal and Turkish sides Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have expressed an interest in the striker.
