Robin van Persie has quashed rumors that he is set for an exit from Manchester United this summer.

Having scored only 10 Premier League goals last season, an Persie's form has been underwhelming to say the least and it has been widely reported that the striker will be offloaded by the Red Devils this transfer window.

However, van Persie has moved to deny reports regarding his exit from Old Trafford and has urged the fans not to believe fabricated rumors created by the media.

The 31-year old said: "There are so many rumours. If I am to believe the English press around 35 new strikers will be coming in and forty will be leaving. But I have no news regarding my future."
