Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says he and Robin van Persie are determined to develop a successful attacking partnership.
Rooney revealed they were both working hard to prove their critics wrong and hopes they can both start adding to the 27 goals they've scored between them this season.
"I think we are doing alright. Obviously, we can do better and if we are not at the top of the league then that will get looked at and we understand that," Rooney explained.
"Personally, we can score more goals and we know we can. We are working hard to do that, we have to keep going and hopefully that will come."
