Manchester United striker Kiko Macheda wants to stay with Doncaster Rovers.
Macheda has scored three goals in two games for his loan club.
He said: "I want to stay. Now I feel good and I'm getting my confidence back. It would be a shame to be just here for a month. I'd like to stay on until January and then we'll see.
"The reason I came to Doncaster is because I felt very wanted by the manager. I have to thank him and I think I made the right choice. I had the chance to come to Sheffield Wednesday but it's not my fault I didn't come here.
"Maybe they didn't really want me as much as Doncaster. Maybe they weren't so sure about me. I went to Doncaster because they really wanted me."
